Kenyan actress and comedian Sandra Dacha recently revealed intriguing details about her teenage years, shedding light on the challenges she faced due to her early physical maturity.

“While I was still in high school, only wababa approached me,” she disclosed. “Because of how I looked, they thought I was much older.” The attention Sandra received from these men was not something she welcomed, as she was just a young girl trying to focus on her education and navigate her teenage years.
Her peers, however, saw her appearance as a source of amusement and admiration. Sandra shared that her schoolmates nicknamed her “Matron,” a term commonly used to describe a school or hospital staff member who supervises students or patients.
The nickname was a playful acknowledgment of her adult-like appearance and her commanding presence among her classmates.
“Everyone called me Matron because I looked mature,” she explained with a smile. Despite the teasing, Sandra took it in stride, noting that it was all in good fun. However, she admitted that the attention she received from older men was a different matter altogether and often left her feeling uncomfortable.
