Blak Aende has posted a Throwback Thursday (TBT) video featuring his daughter, Marie Achieng, just days after her burial, bringing many Kenyans to tears.
For the first time since the loss of his daughter, the social media guru has shared a heartfelt post.
Blak Aende posted a video on TikTok from one of their dates, accompanied by the caption:
“Those Tuesday date nights and late-night strolls… Forevermarieblck.com.”
Reflecting on his daughter, Aende revealed that he would take Marie out on dates every first Tuesday of the month. He vowed to honor her memory by continuing their tradition of special outings.

While eulogizing her daughter, Nyaboke revealed the immense pain of her loss.
The grieving mother, still struggling to come to terms with her child’s death, broke down in tears and needed support from her two sisters and best friend, Sandra Dacha, who helped her back to her seat.
Nyaboke recounted spending the entire night by her daughter’s coffin during the final vigil, talking to Marie in the hours leading up to her burial.
Blak Aende, who shared a deep bond with his daughter, expressed how much they loved and supported Marie.
He noted that she was surrounded by positive energy until her final moments and admitted that there must have been a struggle beyond human understanding.
Aende vowed to support Nyaboke through her grief and ensure she has the strength to navigate this profound loss.

On Saturday, August 3, friends of Marie held a candlelight vigil at her home in Syokimau to honor her memory.
During her daughter’s memorial, actress Nyaboke was overcome with emotion and had to cut her speech short.
