30 People Including 26 Pupils Injured as School Bus Collides with Truck at Sachangwan

Eyewitnesses reported that the accident occurred when a Rockside Academy school bus and a truck collided, causing the bus to overturn.

Among the injured are 26 pupils, who have been transported to the nearest hospital for medical attention. NTV reported that the students, from Rockside Primary School in Nairobi, were returning from the National Music Festivals Competition held at Moi Girls High School in Eldoret.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the accident, which took place around 1:00 PM, was triggered by a rescue truck that lost control.

The truck rammed into the school bus and collided with two other private vehicles heading towards Nakuru before finally landing in a ditch.
