Zari Hassan has thrown shade at men just days after her public fallout with her husband, Shakib Lutaaya.
What did Shakib say about Zari?
On August 10, Diamond Platnumz, Zari Hassan’s ex, attended their daughter’s birthday party and surprised her with luxurious toys.
This event sparked drama when Zari went live on social media, accusing her husband, Shakib, of being insecure. She claimed that her 31-year-old husband kept questioning why Diamond was at their home.
Zari challenged Shakib to consider what he contributes to their relationship and told women interested in him that they could have him, but they would be responsible for all expenses.
Shakib responded publicly, expressing his frustration. He accused Zari of being a miser who is only concerned with her own interests.
“I work and hustle like a man. The most I have ever received from Zari, as many know, is minimal because she is a miser. I am not making this up; it can be confirmed by her friends, family, and in-laws. The largest amount I’ve ever received from her was during a business trip to Tanzania,” he stated.
A few days later, Shakib retracted his previous statements and spoke positively about Zari during an interview with Glam&Style on Galaxy TV.
He remarked,
“If I had married Zari for her money, we would have parted ways a long time ago. What keeps us together is our shared love.”
The Ugandan businessman acknowledged that Zari is a supportive partner, mentioning that she occasionally helps him financially.
He also clarified, “Zari’s money is for her and her kids,” emphasizing that their relationship is based on love rather than financial motives.
