Elsa Majimbo confidently states that anyone calling her ugly is lying, as she believes she is stunning.
The US-based Kenyan model and internet sensation expressed this confidently in a video she shared on her TikTok account.
Elsa argued that she has a multitude of admirers, both online and in real life, who constantly praise her, clearly proving the few haters who claim she’s ugly.
In the video, she also addressed how she believes many people dislike her because of her rich dark skin tone. However, that doesn’t bother her.
“And while we are on the topic of a lot of you hating me because I’m dark-skinned, let us talk about my favorite insult, ‘The you are ugly line.’
Come on! You know you are lying… you know you are lying,” the commercial model emphasized, oiling her hands for added effect.
She added that while people often say beauty is subjective, in her case, she is far from ugly, which doesn’t make her conceited.
“And I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but c’mon! I know you are lying, you know you are lying, and the audience knows you are lying.
This is not just about being confident in myself. I have so many people in real life telling me every day that I am drop-dead gorgeous. And I have thousands and thousands of people online telling me I am stunning daily!
Plus, I have mirrors. I know I’m stunning, I know I’m gorgeous, so let’s be real. Let’s be real,” Elsa stated emphatically as she brought her face closer to the camera, showcasing her features.
Elsa Majimbo graciously accepts being voted ‘worst dressed’
A month ago, content creator and comedian Elsa Majimbo attended the premiere of “Bridgerton” in South Africa.
The Netflix event was graced by prominent figures in the African entertainment industry. Majimbo donned a long, see-through black dress, which disappointed fans as it did not align with the Bridgerton theme.
Addressing the criticism on TikTok, Majimbo admitted to being voted the worst dressed:
“I chose this dress thinking it was perfect for a premiere, ideal for the red carpet. I took photos and shared them.”
She continued, “The next day, I woke up to find out I had been voted the worst dressed. People didn’t hold back.”
Majimbo further acknowledged that if 80 percent of people on the internet say you look horrible, “Maybe you might just look horrible.”
She vowed to improve in the future.
“I accepted it. People on the internet are honest; they really let their hearts be known. That’s one thing I’ve learned from this experience. Even my fans, they tell me they love me, but child, damn.”
“I’ve heard you guys.”
Other Kenyan stars who attended the event included Kate Actress, Jacque Matubia, Amina Abdi Rabar, and Manasseh Nyaga, among others.
