Zari Hassan and her husband, Shakib Cham, have recently unfollowed each other on social media and removed all photos of one another from their respective profiles.

The drama began when Zari’s ex-partner, Diamond Platnumz, visited her home in South Africa to celebrate their daughter’s birthday.
Zari, who had previously been in a high-profile relationship with Diamond, felt the need to address the situation publicly. During an Instagram Live session, she aimed to clarify the nature of Diamond’s visit, emphasizing that it was purely a father’s gesture to see his child.
Zari expressed frustration about her husband’s insecurity and felt compelled to prove that there was nothing more to the visit than a family gathering.
In her live broadcast, Zari made it clear that if Shakib failed to acknowledge her worth and continued to harbor insecurities, she would consider moving on. “If my guy doesn’t want to recognize who I am, shame! I will definitely find someone who will appreciate my worth. I am worth so much more,” she asserted. Her comments were a direct challenge to Shakib, underscoring her frustration with his perceived lack of trust.
Zari’s live video also included a stern message for Shakib. She criticized him for questioning why he wasn’t informed about Diamond’s surprise visit.
Zari explained that Diamond had made an unannounced appearance to surprise their daughter, and she felt it was unfair for Shakib to be upset about it.
“My husband is very insecure, and that’s causing a lot of problems. I have to do a whole live just to prove a point to my husband,” she lamented.
She advised Shakib to address his insecurities, stating, “Go fix yourself, the problem is not with me. Go fix your insecurities, bro.”
Adding to the tension, Zari highlighted her own success and status. She described herself as a “boss lady” and a millionaire who could choose her partner but had chosen to be with Shakib.
Despite any negative perceptions or criticisms about Shakib’s financial status, Zari emphasized that she valued her own choice and expected her partner to recognize her worth. “No matter what you say—‘oh, he’s broke, he’s not good enough’—I chose him, and I don’t care. He has to put me through this? My guy, you better change; you better recognize who I am,” she declared.

Speaking in Luganda, Shakib indicated that he did not see himself having children with Zari, citing her age as a concern. “I don’t expect to have kids with her. She’s at an age where having children is no longer feasible. I’m not with her to have kids, but I admire and love her,” Shakib revealed.
