In a joint statement shared on their Instagram stories, Karanja and Kamau disclosed that they had actually decided to end their marriage some time ago but had chosen to keep the matter private initially.
The statement read, “We reached the decision to end our marriage quite some time ago and have been living separately. We kindly ask everyone to respect our request for privacy for the sake of ourselves and our children. Signed, Kate and Phil.”
