Terence Creative expressed disappointment with individuals on social media who recorded Fred Omondi’s body and shared it online. He emphasized the importance of maintaining respect and dignity during such private moments, criticizing the pursuit of negative attention and highlighting the need for positive interactions and behaviors online.
“And I’m very much disappointed by some people from social media. We are all in the clout business, but I believe in positive popularity… You don’t have to look for negative things in everything. I’m so sad. First of all, it started when you were doing Fred’s viewing on Friday. Somebody came with a camera and started recording the body directly from the casket,” he said.
The content creator added:
“I’m wondering. We had people who came there and did an interview; you can get that content and go with it. You don’t have to people show the body. People are mourning. You don’t have to take videos of his body and start circulating all over the internet just because you want likes. People are traumatised. It is very unfair. It is very unfair for those who are looking for content in that manner.”
