Ngina Kenyatta, the daughter of the former president, married Alex Mwai in a vibrant traditional wedding ceremony on June 18, 2022.

The couple’s traditional wedding took place at a private ceremony in Nairobi, attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta, his wife Margaret, their other children, a few relatives, and close friends.

Prominent figures like media personality Miano Muchiri, Geff Mwai, Jack Vincent, Muigai Kamau, and Ngengi, who are from affluent backgrounds, attended the wedding.

Guests adorned themselves in various African prints, adding to the stunning visual spectacle. The couple, dressed in matching maroon outfits, looked resplendent on their special day.

Photos capturing Ngina and Mwai’s wedding were shared online by close family members and also by blogger Edgar Obare.

Dennis Itumbi also took to social media to share details of the wedding and extend his best wishes to the newlyweds.
