Mulamwah Reveals He Started Dating Ruth K While Carol Sonnie Was Pregnant

Comedian Kendrick Mulamwah has shared details about how his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Carol Sonnie, began, revealing that initially, he was interested in her friend.

He mentioned that they met at the Kenya National Theatre (KNT), where they both had gone to audition for a role in a play.

What led Mulamwah to date Ruth K

During a Q&A session with fans about his life and relationships, he reminisced about the moment he first saw Sonnie and how he was struck by her beauty.

He also disclosed that he started dating his current partner, Ruth K, even before Carol gave birth, dispelling rumors that Ruth was the reason for his breakup with his ex-girlfriend.

“We had already broken up. During that period, I was feeling very lonely, and I felt like I was losing myself. When you’re creative and you’re without a girlfriend, trust me, there’s nowhere you’re headed. You end up with different girlfriends every day, at every show, wasting your life away. That’s why I started looking for another option. I even told Ruth K when we were courting that if she turned me down, I would find another girlfriend. But she didn’t accept because she saw Carol pregnant, and that’s why I still love her to this day,” he explained.

Mulamwah’s relationship with daughter

Mulamwah also refuted claims that his relationship with his daughter Keliah was okay, contrary to recent statements made by Sonnie during an interview.

He pleaded with Sonnie to grant him access to his daughter, emphasizing that they have both changed since their separation.

“Our relationship is not okay. The last time I saw her was when she was four months old. In fact, the video I posted was the last day I saw Keilah. What I would like is to be granted access,” he expressed.

Mulamwah urges netizens to support baby mamas

A day ago, Mulamwah responded to criticism directed at his two baby mamas and urged netizens to support both of them.

He acknowledged their efforts in pushing themselves and building their brands despite facing backlash. Some netizens questioned his timing in speaking out now that Sonnie had rebuilt her life, while others continued to pledge their support for both women.
