Maina Kageni has caused a stir after sharing a video of himself presenting an expensive bottle of liquor as a birthday gift to a friend.
How much is Remmy Martin liquor?
The Classic 105 presenter posted a video showing his friend, businessman Charles Kiburu, unboxing a bottle of Remy Martin.
Kiburu, beaming with joy, poured the premium liquor into three glasses and toasted with his friends, including Maina.
The bottle, which costs around KSh 50,000 depending on the retailer, was a generous gift from Maina Kageni.
He captioned the post, “Happy birthday my CEO @charleskibiru. You are an inspiration to me and many… live long, live well, live right…”
Fans of Maina Kageni expressed envy and amusement in response to the generous gift. Here are some of their comments:
- Allyyss: “Foundation ya hii aina ya pombe hukuwa gani? Utaskia watu wa konyagi wakisema githeri 😭😭.” (What’s the foundation for this kind of drink? You’ll hear people who drink Konyagi talking about githeri 😭😭.)
- b_ngina: “Nikikunywa hii hakuna kwenda washroom 😂.” (If I drink this, there’s no going to the washroom 😂.)
- Arnold_kinus: “Mimi marafiki wakiniletea whisky, watu wanatuita walevi 😂😂 wacha nitafute pesa ya Remy Martin.” (When my friends bring me whisky, people call us drunks 😂😂. Let me look for money for Remy Martin.)
- Ann Brenda Njonjo: “I want a friend like this one.”
- Dero Smasher: “Huku kwa changaa hiyo 50k umenunua mpaka hiyo ploti inauziwa.” (In places where they drink changaa, with that 50k you could even buy a plot of land.)
- Venazuela Moren Sandra: “Wewe kuna watu wanachezea pesa walai… mngenipatia hiyo pesa atleast nifanyie kitu ya maana.” (There are people who play around with money… if you gave me that amount, I’d at least do something meaningful with it.)
