Bomet woman representative Linet Toto has recently maintained a low profile and is seldom seen engaging in local activities in her county, unlike her previous level of involvement.
The youngest parliamentarian became engaged to her partner, Godfrey Kimutai, also known as Nifty Kim, on Valentine’s Day in 2023, and their love for each other is evident. On July 20, Kim posted a collage of photos from Toto’s extravagant baby shower, which was attended by numerous female politicians.
In the collage, there was also a picture depicting two adults holding a baby’s hand. Kim overlaid the photos with Fortunator and Rude Kid Venda’s song “Ha Mathuthu Banga.” A screenshot, likely from Toto’s WhatsApp status, indicated that she had given birth to a healthy baby girl.
“Glory be to God. We welcome a baby girl. The long-awaited day has finally arrived. God is good. I have transitioned from Toto to Mama Toto,” read the post.
Kenyans flooded social media with messages of congratulations for Toto, expressing sentiments such as:
“Congratulations on your baby girl! Wishing you all the joy and happiness.”
“Such wonderful news! May God bless your new family.”
“Sending love and blessings to you and your little one.”
“Welcome to motherhood! Enjoy every moment with your precious daughter.”
“Congratulations! You are going to be an amazing mama.”
“Obiayo Shadrack remarked, “Good news. Glory be to God.”
“Lilian Atieno: “Welcome to motherhood.”
“Nancy Riaga: “Congratulations.”
“Shanieez Latoya Arikah: “At the right time, God does it. Congratulations.”
“Julius Kiano: “God is Good all the time, congratulations Mama Toto.”
“God is Good all the time, congratulations Mama Toto.”
Toto’s husband celebrates her
The youngest parliamentarian’s partner consistently celebrates her, and on Mother’s Day, he wrote a touching message for her.
Recently, Kim also defended his wife from online criticism about her attire, showing strong support for her.
