A video has emerged showing Rosie’s boss struggling to explain to her children that their beloved nanny, Rosie, will be returning to Kenya.
In the video shared on YouTube, the kids are seen playing happily in the house until their mum calls them for a meeting, where she breaks the news to them.
“What I am about to say is going to be difficult for our family, and I need you to be strong. Please don’t cry, you are strong girls,” their mum pleaded.
“Rosie is leaving and won’t be coming back, but Inshallah, we will meet her again,” she added, comforting her children.
One of the adorable girls initially thought Rosie was traveling to Turkey, only to realize with sadness that she was leaving for good and would not return.
“We should thank her for everything she did for our family. Rosie needs to go and be with her children because they need her,” said the Lebanese woman, acknowledging Rosie’s dedication and the importance of her being with her own family.
As soon as their mum broke the news to them, Maria and Cataleya started wailing in pain because their favorite nanny was leaving. Their mum tried to console them, but they remained inconsolable.
They only started smiling again when their mum brought out a cake she had bought for Rosie as a farewell gift, and they sang for her with all their hearts. However, emotions escalated once more when Rosie picked up her bags and walked out of the door for the final time.
In another story, Nanny Rosie broke her silence about quitting her job in Lebanon and returning to Kenya, where her own children reside.
The young mum worked as the personal nanny for a Lebanese family, caring for little Maria and Cataleya, and was deeply cherished. In an Instagram video, Rosie shared that she had left the family and had no intentions of returning.
Nanny Rosie shared her journey on a YouTube channel, recounting how she initially went to Lebanon in 2021 as a househelp, not specifically as a nanny. Rosie’s daughter expressed gratitude to the Lebanese woman who had employed her mom for ensuring her safe return home. Rosie was warmly welcomed by a fellow Kenyan housekeeper upon her return from holiday, and the two embraced warmly, greeting each other in Kiswahili.
