How Hassan Joho defended his move to join the Cabinet

As previously reported, former Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho defended his decision to join the Kenya Kwanza government.

During his appearance before the Committee on Appointment on Sunday, August 4, Joho expressed his readiness to collaborate with President William Ruto, despite his previous criticism of Ruto’s administration. Although Joho had previously vowed never to join or support the Kenya Kwanza administration, he has since had a change of heart.

He emphasized his intention to work with Ruto for the nation’s benefit. Joho is one of five ODM party officials appointed to serve in Ruto’s revamped Cabinet.
