Jomo Kenyatta’s Lookalike Alleges He Called Raila, Atwoli Hoping to Reach Uhuru’s Family

Mzee Jomo Kenyatta’s doppelgänger has recently shared that he reached out to two Kenyan leaders following his rise to fame.

Michael Nginge, who goes by the name Kenyatta Junior due to his striking resemblance to Kenya’s first president, revealed that he has reached out to Raila Odinga and Francis Atwoli.

Where does Kenyatta’s doppelganger live?

He revealed this information in response to questions about whether Kenyatta’s family was aware of his existence.

“I am sure they have been informed because I spoke with ODM leader Raila Odinga. It was our first conversation, and when he answered the phone, he said he was seeing a reincarnation of Jomo Kenyatta. He asked if I was related to Kenyatta, and I told him we might be because I do not know who my real father is,” Nginge said.

Living in the US, Nginge also mentioned that Raila remarked he resembled Kenyatta more than Kenyatta’s son, Uhuru Kenyatta.

Nginge also reached out to Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary-General Francis Atwoli around the same time.

“When he saw me, he hid himself from the call. When I asked him why he was hiding, he said he was seeing Kenyatta,” Nginge added.
