Benta, sister of the late comedian Fred Omondi, has cautioned Kenyan women claiming her brother fathered children with them.
During Fred’s burial, Eric introduced his sisters, revealing their mothers and noting their father’s polygamous status. In a viral video, Edna, one of Eric’s sisters, confronted a woman who had claimed to be Fred’s baby mama.
Edna stated that the woman had stayed at their rural home for over a week and claimed Fred had introduced her as his baby mama. “I just arrived yesterday from Europe and I hear Fred’s wife has a child and has been here for a week. Please delete that clip from social media. Fred told me he has a child and I know the child’s mother. I’ve seen her here and if she had a child, she would have brought them to us.”
Eric’s sister asserted that the lady was given fare to bring Fred’s alleged child, but she did not. She criticized her as a clout chaser, saying, “She’s here burying Fred, yet it should be her child doing that. Am I wrong? She even took advantage of our home. We’ve lost Fred, we’re grieving, and she’s here clout chasing. She doesn’t have a child. Where is the child? We gave her fare to bring the child. Where is the child? Since day one Fred passed away, I arrived yesterday from Europe and saw those clips. I asked her, where is the child? Eric gave her fare, and she brought the child.”
