First Daughter Charlene Ruto has responded to and refuted allegations that her non-profit organization, SMACHS Foundation, is engaged in soliciting funds from participants of the Kenya-Israel Agricultural Exchange Program.
In a comprehensive statement, First Daughter Charlene Ruto clarified the foundation’s stance and emphasized its dedication to transparency and ethical conduct.
In her statement, Charlene noted that the SMACHS Foundation, a youth-led and youth-focused organization, is committed to inspiring young people to participate in agriculture and climate action, contributing to the fight against food insecurity.
She emphasized that the SMACHS Foundation does not engage in fundraising schemes and explicitly stated that it does not solicit funds from individuals for any opportunities, partnerships, or training activities.
