Kenyan Dancehall star and entrepreneur KRG the Don has announced a temporary departure from the entertainment industry to focus intensively on his business ventures. Taking to social media, he expressed his decision to channel his energy and time into more pressing responsibilities and entrepreneurial activities.
“I’m taking a long break from the entertainment business!!! I wanna put my energy and time in other responsibilities and business activities… to all my fans I will miss you but ntakua tu within…..” he conveyed to his followers.
Highlighting the motivations behind his hiatus, KRG emphasized the need to concentrate on advancing his businesses and securing a prosperous future for his children. “Niko na kazi mob ya kufanya I need to concentrate on much more important businesses for now. Mziki nitarudi nikifikisha I billion dollars kwa account. My kids need advanced education as well so mpaka nipange life mapema,” he stated.
In recent times, KRG has garnered attention on social media for his outspoken views against the GenZ movement. “I guess It’s time we go back to work now coz Hii maandamano imebaki ya wezi and lazy people who have nothing to loose,” he remarked in a post, reflecting his stance.
Following his announcement, fans and well-wishers have expressed their support and best wishes for his future endeavors, acknowledging his determination to prioritize his family and business aspirations.
It seems like KRG the Don has strongly criticized the Gen Z movement, suggesting they lack the understanding and experience necessary for governance.
He expressed his opinion that many young people are disconnected from their fathers and yet feel entitled to advise seasoned politicians.
KRG emphasized the importance of respecting elders, even when in disagreement, advocating for civil discourse over violence and abusive language.
He also highlighted the practical concerns of businesspeople in urban areas who are focused on their livelihoods amid economic pressures.
