Amber Ray’s bae Kennedy Rapudo has revealed why he did not pursue being a radio presenter.
In his interview with Parents Magazine, Kennedy Rapudo discussed how he initially aspired to be a radio presenter, inspired by his love for BBC. However, he found that radio did not offer the financial stability he desired. His other dream of becoming a doctor also faded after his mother’s death, leading him to follow a more conventional path.
Rapudo emphasized that he supports his children’s dreams, regardless of how unconventional they might be. Whether his son wants to be a chef or a bus conductor, or his daughter wishes to own a salon or become a hairstylist, Rapudo’s focus is on supporting their choices rather than imposing his expectations.
After earning a Master’s degree from the University of Nairobi, Kennedy Rapudo worked with various oil companies, including TULO and Africa Oil, where he conducted research. He later returned to USIU for a second Master’s degree, drawn to their programs.
Eight years ago, Rapudo began his entrepreneurial journey by operating multiple cars under Uber. His significant opportunity came when he worked with a Dutch travel company, organizing tours for clients from the Netherlands. Following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the travel industry, Rapudo decided to start his own tour company.
