Actress Dorea Chege has revealed that she moved out of DJ Dibul’s house for two weeks following an argument.
Chege said both of them had egos and no one was willing to be the first one to apologize.
In an interview with DJ Mo and Size 8 on TV 47, Dorea shared
” I packed and left for two weeks.
We had ego and no one was willing to be the first to apologize. No one wanted to be the ‘desperate’ one.
We used to argue now and then and I would wonder what was wrong with us.

In an interview with DJ Mo and Size 8 on TV 47, Dorea shared, “I packed and left for two weeks. We both had egos and no one was willing to be the first to apologize. No one wanted to be the ‘desperate’ one. We used to argue every now and then, and I would wonder what was wrong with us.”
But it got to a point where I had to listen to what he wants and not what I want for him. Marriage is not an achievement; finding a working marriage is the achievement.”
What did she learn during her ‘escape’ period?
“Never succumb to social media pressure. Packing and leaving is not a solution; it only made things easier. Communication is the solution.”
Dibul said since then they have learned to handle their differences.
“We are like any couple; we argue. We lacked proper communication, but we have learned what works for us. It got to a point where I stopped ‘running away’ from arguments.”
The couple said they see a therapist and involve their pastor when necessary
