A Kenyan woman has sparked amusement on social media after her Facebook message to celebrated journalist Larry Madowo surfaced online.
Amused, Madowo shared the message from the daring lady on the Meta-owned platform, prompting Kenyans to flock to the comment section to react to the hilarious DM.
In the leaked DM, the Kenyan lady boldly asked the renowned journalist to marry her, which thoroughly entertained him.
“Larry si unioe, ngamia hii (Larry, marry me),” her message read. Larry leaked her message and captioned it with a laughing emoji, clearly amused by her bold request.
This isn’t the first time a Kenyan woman has reached out to a prominent personality with daring requests in social media messages.
A few weeks ago, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja was amused when a 25-year-old Gen-Z lady sent him a daring request on WhatsApp after obtaining his number.
In the WhatsApp chat shared by the politician on X, the Gen-Z lady humorously asked the governor if he could adopt a “25-year-old bouncing baby girl.”
“Hi, governor. Can you adopt a 25-year-old bouncing baby girl?” she humorously asked in the WhatsApp message.
Larry Madowo received alarming messages recently following his coverage of the anti-Finance Bill 2024 protests. On Saturday, June 29, he shared a screenshot of a threatening message he received from an unknown person. Larry and his team reported instances of police harassment against peaceful protesters during their coverage of the protests.
