Tanzania — A young woman is heartbroken after her fiancé betrayed her just days before their wedding.
The woman was set to marry Adam Hussein, who had confirmed that all wedding plans were in place.
However, just days before the ceremony, Hussein had a change of heart after uncovering a secret about his bride-to-be.
Mother consoles heartbroken daughter
He discovered that his fiancée had two children and was deeply hurt that she hadn’t shared this information earlier in their relationship. Despite her mother’s attempts to comfort her, the young woman remained inconsolable, crying uncontrollably.
“You are not alone in this. It’s painful, but you should be thankful because you don’t know what the future holds. There’s a reason for everything, my daughter,” her mother reassured her.
Tanzanian woman cries in her wedding gown
The mother revealed that her daughter had been crying non-stop for two days and had refused to eat or drink throughout this difficult time.
The Tanzanian woman was dressed in her wedding gown, which she had hoped to wear on her special day. Hussein expressed that he could not accept her children from a previous relationship, stating that once parents are together, they remain connected, even if they separate.
“They may part ways, but they will always be in each other’s lives. I never intended to marry a woman with children. I’ve already paid the dowry, which won’t be refunded, but I cannot go through with the wedding under these circumstances,” he said angrily.

In another story, a Tanzanian woman who left her fiancé at the altar on their wedding day explained her decision. She cited his lack of respect for her elders, among other issues, as reasons for her change of heart.
Social media users were not sympathetic to her explanation, criticizing her for being unfair, especially since the dowry had already been paid.
