Churchill Show comedian MC Jessy has recently opened up about his married life for the first time.
His candid remarks offer a glimpse into his personal life, shedding light on his experiences and perspectives regarding marriage.
This revelation comes as a surprise to many fans who have been curious about his life off the stage.
Who is MC Jessy’s wife?
There has been ongoing speculation that MC Jessy is married to a woman named Elizabeth Wangare and that the couple has a son together.
This rumor has circulated for quite some time, with many fans and followers curious about the details of his personal life.
Jessy’s recent comments about his marriage may provide clarity and insight into these long-standing rumors.
Rumors have long suggested that MC Jessy married a woman named Elizabeth Wangare in a colorful wedding at Winner’s Chapel in 2012.
However, in an interview with SPM Buzz, Jessy addressed these rumors directly.
He stated,
“I do not know anybody by the name Wangare. Never. I have never married anyone by that name.”
This clarification from the comedian puts the speculation to rest and confirms that the rumors about his marriage to Wangare are unfounded.
MC Jessy, who ran for the Imenti South parliamentary seat in the August 2022 General Election, recently spoke about the pressures of public life and his choice to keep his personal life private.
He admitted that while society often pressures him to share details about his private life on social media, he prefers not to do so.
“I am the one you chose to be in the limelight, not my kids, wife, or girlfriend,” he explained.
The comedian emphasized that he started his career single and that his family was not involved in his public life, which is why he has chosen to keep them out of the spotlight.
MC Jessy explained his stance on privacy, saying,
“Anything that concerns any other person apart from MC Jessy I need to seek consent from the person so that they can agree if I can discuss them in the media or not. I know when I make a lot of jokes about relationships, women, and all that, I like it to remain like that because that is how it started. I started comedy when I was alone—no dating and all that. I don’t like putting my personal life out there because that’s not what fans want to see; all they want to know is what I am doing… not any other person. Kunakuwanga na scenarios mapenzi huisha, nitaambia nini watu (There are scenarios where romance ends; how would I explain that to people?)”
