A young lady whose wedding went ahead despite her breaking up with the groom on the same day has now spoken out.

From the venue to the reception, every detail was prepared for the highly anticipated event, eagerly awaited by friends and family.

However, the bride had a change of heart on the wedding day, but her fiancé proceeded with the celebration without her.

The man revealed that his fiancée’s family was unhappy with several aspects of him, which influenced her decision.

He shared,

“They were dissatisfied with my level of energy on what was supposed to be my big day, claiming I appeared too drunk. They also felt I was disrespecting them by showing up. Additionally, I hadn’t completed my dowry payments—I had paid KSh 48,012 but still owed KSh 9,602,” he told Clouds Media.

The Tanzanian woman was reached out to for a comment on the allegations and to confirm whether the reasons provided were accurate.

“Tell him to explain his shortcomings, behavior, and lack of respect for the elders. In short, we do not want to be bothered. What else do you want?” she said angrily before hanging up the phone.
